Comparing the Cost of a Degree
A college degree is one of the most significant investments an individual will ever make. It is also one of the most important choices a student makes, as it will affect the rest of his/her life. Florida's tuition and fees are the lowest among public universities who are members of the prestigious American Association of Universities (AAU).
In the September 2011 issue of Smart Money Magazine, they published an article titled "Colleges That Help Grads Get Top Salaries." In this article, UF ranks #3 overall. The article also states "By mid career, many alums of schools like the University of Florida earn double or triple what they paid in tuition."
UF's tuition is also ranked fourth in the nation for its value among state institutions. UF is consistently ranked among the nation's top universities: No. 2 in Kiplinger's "Best Values in Public Colleges" (2010) and No. 3 in the Princeton Review Best Value Public Colleges (2011).
